STOPTHESPRAY.ORG was founded when California Agricultural Secretary Kawamura began an aerial spray program of pheromones and other undisclosed and potentially harmful chemical constituents over populated urban areas of Monterey County to combat the Light-brown Apple Moth (LBAM) against tremendous public outcry. Many are now reporting health problems since the start of the spray program. The citizens of California need to stand together with one voice that tells our representatives and Secretary Kawamura we will not stand for this. The CA Department of Agriculture and Secretary Kawamura plan to continue and expand aerial LBAM spraying in Monterey County including Seaside, Marina, Pacific Grove, and Pebble Beach, and into neighboring including Santa Cruz.
